Chandigarh, February 25:
The two-day Pet Fed known as India’s biggest pet festival concluded at Elante Mall on Sunday. More than 450 pets including several dog breeds husky, German shepherd great dane, chow chow, golden retriever, beagle, Indian spitz, toy poodle, shitzhu, Himalayan mastiff, and pugs participated in the festival. On the last day, a pet fashion show set the stage on fire with various pet breeds walking the ramp with their parents in colorful outfits. A wide array of exciting activities and games were organized during the festival. Engaging activities included an agility area for canine companions and a kitty playpen for feline companions. The fun interactive stage games featured temptation alley, trick relay, musical mutts and Feed the Dog. An agility ring was perfect for dogs to showcase their skills, maneuvering through rings and ball pools. For cats, the show has a kitty playpen to sway their poise allowing them to revel in their space and playfulness with fellow felines. The Fab Indie contest was aimed to honor and celebrate Indie pets as these local and street animals often go unnoticed and require special care and affection.
The festival’s primary aim was to raise awareness and advocate for the welfare of pets, encouraging people to be more empathetic and attentive to the needs of animals while celebrating the bond between every pet parent and their beloved pets. The festival was presented by JUSTDOGS, powered by Purina Supercoat India and co-powered by Drools. Akshay Gupta, Founder of Pet Fed, stated, “This is going to be a special one for us as we have extended our avenues to Chandigarh. Every year, we witness new pets and parents participating in our festival, involving themselves in activities, sharing their new and memorable experiences, and making everlasting memories. “ Ashish Antony, Founder of JUSTDOGS emphasized the collaboration’s success and trust built over these years and now with the same trust and bond, they have joined hands for the express edition festival.
